Join Minnesota Farmers Union for our annual Women’s Conference, “Strength in Community!” MFU members David Christianson and Polly Perkins will graciously host at L’Etoile Du Nord Vineyard in Parkers Prairie, Douglas County. Women in agriculture are stronger together, and we want to provide you the opportunity to build your relationships.
We’ll begin our day at 9 a.m. with registration and start the program at 9:30. Confirmed to speak so far are UMN Farmer-Lender Mediation Executive Director Mary Nell Preisler, Minnesota Department of Agriculture Assistant Commissioner Whitney Place and State Director for Senator Tina Smith Alana Petersen.
Programming will conclude around 2 p.m., but all are invited to stick around for wine tasting, a vineyard tour and more time to connect with each other.
Lunch from local foods restaurant La Ferme will be provided, as well as Farmers Union Farmers Choice Coffee and milk. Child care will also be available. The cost is $10 per person.
More to come soon!
Note: Due to limited space at the vineyard, we are capping registration at 40 people.
