COVID-19 restrictions have forced us to dig deep into our resilience just to make it through every day. Women farmers are already resilient by the nature of the work, but economic uncertainties and supply chain lapses have been just a couple of the added challenges in the past year. How do we bring the resilience practices we’ve learned into our lives, farms, and communities? We hope to begin to answer that question and more.
Speakers will include Krista Kopperud, farmer-operator at Painted Prairie; Minnesota Cooks Program Manager Claudine Arndt; and University of Minnesota Extension Leadership Education. Food from River City Eatery’s food truck will be served, as well as Farmers Choice Coffee, milk, pastries, meat, and cheese. Cost is $10/pp – RSVP today.
