Minnesota

  • Minnesota Farmers Union New in 2018! This Scholarship is for any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their children who plan to attend or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. Up to five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
  • Rice County (Statewide) – The Rice County Scholarship is available to Minnesota Farmers Union family members planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
  • Rice County (Rice County Only) – The Rice County Scholarship is available to Minnesota Farmers Union family members planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and who live in Rice County.
  • Howard Warmbold Memorial Hubbard, Beltrami & Wadena County – The Hubbard County Scholarship is available to any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their child who is planning on pursuing an agricultural education and resides in Hubbard, Beltrami, or Wadena Counties. Scholarship awarded by Hubbard County Farmers Union. (deadline passed)
  • Kandiyohi County – The Kandiyohi County Scholarship is available to any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their child who resides in Kandiyohi County. Contact Donnel Williamson for more information, WilliamsonOrganicFarm@gmail.com. (deadline passed)
  • Wabasha County – The Don Tentis Memorial/Wabasha County Scholarship is available to Minnesota Farmer Union family members who reside in Wabasha County and plan to attend or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
  • Fly-in Scholarship – Two FFA students or two adult agricultural students are awarded a scholarship to attend the fall legislative fly-in in Washington D.C. Winners are chosen on a rotating schedule every other year. Please contact MFU Government Relations Director Thom Petersen at thom@mfu.org for more information.
  • Many counties also provide scholarships to assist children who wish to attend Minnesota Farmers Union Leadership Camp. Contact Glen Schmidt for more information at glen@mfu.org.
