SAINT PAUL (September 18, 2013) - The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), which is comprised of department of agriculture leaders from across the national, urges the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to work towards bee protection on a state level by introducing “pollinator plans”.
Bees are needed to pollinate over 90 different crops in the United States. They also increase the quality & yield of crops they pollinate.
This comes in response to increased losses of honeybees due to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).
